Ritsu Amakusa (天草律 Amakusa Ritsu) is an Japanese female who got sent the fantasy by unknown means, also having been born an Divine Protection despite not being an native. She is also an avid technology enthusiast who became an mechanical engineer and an inventor just prior to being sent to the fantasy world.

Ritsu explained her origins to an few group she trusts the most, informing them of another world to which she came from where magic and fantastical creatures do not exist. She grew up and born on the continent country called Australia in a town called Alice Springs. Born between an Australian woman Alice Springs and an Japanese father of the Amakusa clan, an clan descending from Amakusa Shirō where she became interested in mechanical engineering and firearms during her childhood.
Ritsu by the age of seventeen, she acquired a gun licence by joining a gun club with her mother's permission. Within the five months of joining, she rose in the Pistol Australia, a tournament of competitive pistol shooting as one of their top 10 in the nationals as the most accurate shooter. During this period, she explained that her father owns a dojo in Alice Springs and had her trained in various martial arts, eventually earning an black belt and becoming an assistant instructor for a month as to help father until he gets more members on his team.
At some point Ritsu attended the University of Sydney where she rose to become one of the to students in the country before moving to the United States and attending Massachusetts Institute of Technology to further her interests in technologies from firearm technology and much more. She'd then befriended two students there and got along very well as they showcased love for fantasy games.
At some point after spending a year at MIT after acquiring materials to create her armoured maid outfit by legitimate protective materials and creating two custom-craft firearms, the Striker Rifle and Striker Pistol she sat in the science lab contemplating while dressed in her armoured maid outfit with her weapons on her person. However an odd shimmering surrounded her as she suddenly found herself in a forest sitting on a rock, alone before being surrounded by man-eating rabbits.

Ritsu is a young woman between fifteen to twenty years of age, born between a Australian mother and Japanese father but inherited most of her traits from her father. Standing at 190.5 cm (6'3ft/1.90m), she is born with long soft orange wavy hair which is kept in two ponytails which got thinner as it goes down in SAO, her eyes was light green for which in-game such as «Sword Art Online» have yellow coloured plus pupil for reason unknown. She has an fit body, almost hour-glass figure with average physique despite being a physically active individual.
Because of Riku's fascination in various RPG fantasy games such as The Elder Scrolls series and to follow the theme of «Sword Art Online», she decided to go to become an ranger-type player. Her ranger attire as she calls it consists of something akin to the proper fantasy RPG ranger with an green cape and an camouflaged bonnet on her head that she kept into «Gun Gale Online», she worn an red button that exposes her lower abdomen with short brown pants with black gym-like shorts underneath along with knee-high brown boots that were armoured by steel plating. Both of her arms had brown leather bracers with black gloves exposing her three of her fingers. She's one of the few that obtained two ranged weaponry called the wirst-mounted crossbow situated on both her arms.

Divine Protections and spells such as Invisibility or something similar is proven to also be useless as she'll able to perfectly see the user, making them appear as if they're not using anything.
Divine Protection of the Hero (英雄の加護 Eiyū no Kago): Ritsu is the current and only only one to obtain the Divine Protection of the Hero which granted her otherwise powered capabilities to achieve hero status such as enhanced physical abilities and intuition in the field of battle and the compassion to put others above her own. An Divine Protection similar to the Divine Protection of the Sword Saint, the holder of the Hero allows them to tackle almost everything in the world and became an enemy to anything that goes against justice and the innocents of the world. While in the present of what Ritsu believes to be someone going against the good morality such as targeting innocents and inciting criminal behaviour, her physical abilities gets an increase from her overall strength to speed. However even with this Divine Protection, she has explained the power can only grant her so much and is limited to an degree by her own experiences and overall physical fortitude. In order to bring out most of this Divine Protection requires her to stay an healthy diet and exercise to keep a healthy, fit physique. It also does not grant her any invulnerabilities, as such an good will hit will still cause pain and depending on the damage, tire her or even ultimately kill her.

Ritsu utilizes an custom-made wrist mounted crossbow situated on her left forearm designed to fire small darts and bolts with various of effects from sedation and explosive bolts to and AP bolts (armour-piercing bolts).
