The Locus-class frigate was a frigate manufactured by the Combine Commission Shipyard Manufactorium as a primary fast-paced defense starship, primarily utlized as a ground and Star Destroyer support craft. Due to its speed, it's been used as a recon vessel and transport ship in order to futher ground assaults. Titanium-armoured, it's relatively small for most ships, but it's able to take frigates and cruisers despite a low array of armaments. Though the Locus is considered by the Combine to be a good balance in firepower and defensive aspects, and one of their favourited vessels.
