Excalibur is the primary one-handed sword of Le Fay Highrise in The World of Nirn continuity and among the Gifts of Akatosh. Over the years after its creation, Excalibur evolved and adapted overtime being enchanted over the elements of fire as well the capability to project an wave of destructive magic energy. After forming the Skyrim settlement Fellburg, Excalibur became the symbol of power as the Lord of Fellburg and Lord Commander of the Fellguard.
According to suppose legend however, Highrise never crafted the Sword but was gifted to him by an engima woman known as the "Lady of the Lake" in Falkreath. An hand rose from the lake's depths when Highrise was battling an dragon and threw it to him upon his Steel Sword shattering. Gripped the sword was able to kill the dragon and proven a valuable asset as an near-indestructible weapon of the Dragonborn. So far it's now known more as the Sword of the Dragonborn or the Dragonslayer.

4th Era Story[]
Excalibur holds many conflicting stories on its exact origins however Highrise said he was given schematics by Merlin during his childhood, and he must prove himself in order to obtain the required materials to forge the weapon. Upon his revelation that he's the Dragonborn with his destiny interwining with Alduin, firstborn of Akatosh, he slowly realized his deeds allowed him to obtain the required materials. In Sovngarde, he obtained the final pieces to construct not only the armour but including the sword itself. This particular story of the sword mentions no forms of enchantment til later on after constructing Windstad Mine and before Fellburg.
Master Sword Legend[]
However another arosed that it's an actual divine weapon of Akatosh himself commonly more known as the Master Sword, the Sword of Time or primarily the Sword of Akatosh. The story tells that the sword was forged to hold time together, representing the linear and non-linear time during the Dawn Era, the manifestation of all timelines. After the Dawn Era, Excalibur is mentioned to be related to the Elder Scrolls and holds some partial power similar to that of the Elder Scrolls, seeing the future and the past. Highrise obtained it during an battle against an unusually destructive and powerful Elder Dragon near an undisclosed lake (believed somewhere in Falkreath). A hand rose from the lake and with it an sword, throwing it to Highrise after his Steel Sword shattered and granting instant but limited precognition of his battle. The story calls the figure the "Lady of the Lake" and an angel to Akatosh.
Albionic Legend[]
Another legend stated it's an sword belonging to an fabled king of Albion through alchemy and magic was forged with the power of over fundemental magic. In the legend, Excalibur is the stronget enchanted sword that allows its wielder to turn invisible, telekinesis, grant power over all elements, augmented physical conditioning, semi-immortality and even ciphering the enemy's magicka and stamina overtime. However an conflict arose that lead to his death and first mentioning of the Lady of the Lake.
